About: Zippie was rescued by Special Needs Animal Rescue and Rehabilitation (SNARR) and lives with his human siblings George and Rita in Lowell. Zippie was born in a backyard breeder situation with a hernia wrapped around vital organs that the breeder was not interested in repairing, so the rescue covered his surgery before he was adopted by the Corcoran family. His name was changed from Rocky to Zippie because he zips, zips, zips around.
